about Out of the Closet Counseling
At A Glance
Sarah Hacker is a licensed LCSW, LCAS, and CCS who has been a social worker since 2014. Over more than a decade of practice, she has worked with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use challenges.
As a queer cis woman, Sarah specializes in serving the LGBTQIA+ community — not as an outside ally, but as someone who understands these experiences from the inside. That lived perspective shapes everything about how she works.
Sarah’s approach is laid-back and collaborative. She believes that real progress starts with genuine rapport, and that healing happens best in a space where you feel truly seen and accepted — not managed or judged. Her goal isn’t to have all the answers. It’s to walk alongside you as you find your own.
“I strive to build a judgment-free space, where we can work collaboratively in order to face life’s hurdles. I would be honored to walk with you on this journey of healing and growth.”
